BEGINNERS’ CHALLENGE ~ TRAINING IN FAWANG TEMPLE

Late autumn in Song Shan Fawang Temple is already chilly in the morning and in the evening.

Today two trainees from France were given the certificates of course completion. They were touched by the ceremony after two weeks’ training in Fawang Temple.

They had not practiced kung fu before arriving in the temple. During two weeks, they were trained according to Shaolin Secular Disciples’ Union’s Kung Fu beginner’s programme, learned taolu “Lian Huan Quan 连环拳”, Ji Ben Gong 基本功, Sanda 散打, and Shaolin staff 少林棍.

Shaolin Secular Disciples’ Martial Arts School provides training not only for those who have already practiced kung fu and helps them for improvement, but also welcomes beginners to discover Shaolin Kung Fu.
