TRAINING IN NATURE ~ Fawang Temple, May 2019

Song shan (嵩山), where Fawang temple is located, is one of the 5 mountains (五岳)*** in China.

In Song shan area, warrior monks have been practicing kung fu in nature since hundreds of years.

For many foreign students, it is a pleasure, though hard, to get out of the training room in their respective countries and practice in such an authentic environment.

Some climb 4000 steps up to the view point before dawn to admire the sun rising behind the mountains, a stunning scenery, an unforgettable experience.

*** 五岳 (5 mountains) - East (东岳) - South (南岳) - Center (中岳) - West (西岳) - North (北岳). Song shan is 中岳, the mountain in the center.
